Q: Do I need an appointment? A: We suggest that all clients set an appointment, however on occasion we do have availability for walk-ins. Q: Does acupuncture hurt? A: Only fine needles are used in acupuncture, and when they are inserted there is little or no pain. Once inserted, the needles may cause numbness or a calm relaxing sensation. Q: Is acupuncture safe? A: Yes. Chen's Holistic Acupuncture only employs certified acupuncturists.   Q: Is acupuncture covered by my medical insurance? A: If acupuncture treatment is required due to an accident or injury, your medical insurance may cover the costs of your treatment.
